Monday is Memorial Day, a time to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States of America.
There will be three area Memorial Day services that will take place Monday morning to do just that.
In Hopkinsville, there will be two services. The first will start at 7:00 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – West, and the other will start at 10:00 at Riverside Cemetery. Both will feature remarks from VFW Post 1913 Commander John Brame and guest speaker Alvin Duncan from the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs.
In Trigg County, the service will start at 10:00 at West Cadiz Park. David Hazelmyer will be the guest speaker.
