The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Wind Advisory for all of western Kentucky Sunday.
Officials say the advisory is in effect from 7 AM until 5 PM Sunday with southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 45 mph expected.
Due to the gusty winds, trees could be uprooted in areas that have received heavy rain of the last few days, particularly across the Pennyrile region.
As a precautionary measure, officials say motorists should use caution when driving Sunday, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle, and outdoor objects should be secured.
