WCA to Resume Trash Pickup in Christian And Trigg Counties

Officials with Waste Corporation of America say they will be starting garbage pickup full stream in Christian and Trigg counties Monday.

Company officials say they hope to be on a regular schedule this week. However, they add the greater volumes of trash will fill the trucks quicker and require more trips to the transfer station for unloading mid-route, meaning scheduled pickup times may be performed later than normal.

According to officials, customers in Christian and Trigg counties should get all WCA toters curbside at their earliest convenience. He also reminds customers, if there is garbage that will not fit in your normal bin, to make sure it is properly bagged or placed in personal cans alongside your WCA toter for removal. In addition, he says customers should disregard any message they received about a five-bag limit and put out all their trash.
