The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 25 new COVID-19 cases from the weekend and Monday in Caldwell, Lyon, and Trigg counties.
In Caldwell County, 11 new cases were reported. They include nine females and two males that range in age from 17 to 75. All are isolated at home, and the county now has 254 total cases.
Lyon County had two new cases, including a 28 and a 38-year-old male; both are isolated at home. The county has reported 109 total cases.
In Trigg County, 12 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed. They include six females and four males ranging in age from 11-months to 59-years of age; all are isolated at home. Also, a 79-year-old female is hospitalized. Trigg County has reported 249 total cases.
In Todd County, health department spokeswoman Jen Harris reported four new positive cases Monday evening. They include three healthy adults and an adult with underlying health conditions. All are experiencing moderate to severe symptoms. Harris said the county has reported over 100 new COVID-19 cases in October and has seen a total of 294 cases. There are currently 25 active cases in the county, with two hospitalized outside the county.
