Officials confirmed 15 new COVID-19 cases in Christian and Todd counties Saturday.
Christian County Health Department spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney said there were 11 new cases, but their active case number was down 16 to 283. Of those, 190 are either 59 or younger, and 93 are either 60 or older. In all, the county has reported 1,559 recoveries and 29 deaths since mid-March.
In Todd County, health department spokeswoman Jen Harris confirmed four new COVID-19 cases. All four adults are isolating at home; one is asymptomatic, two have mild symptoms, and one has moderate symptoms. Three of the new cases are connected. Thirty-six cases are deemed active, with three hospitalized. Harris added 238 cases have recovered, and 12 deaths have been reported.
