Todd County Health Department spokeswoman Jen Harris confirmed Friday night the highest single-day total of COVID-19 cases.
Harris said there were eight new cases Friday, including one minor and seven adults. The healthy minor, case 218, is connected to case 217. Case 219 is an adult with underlying health conditions who is connected to case 198.
Cases 220 to 223 are healthy adults who are not connected to other cases and are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms. Case 224 is a healthy adult not connected to other cases and experiencing moderate to severe symptoms. Case 225 is an adult with underlying health conditions with moderate symptoms.
All cases from Friday are isolated at home.
Harris added currently there are 20 people healing at home and 4 hospitalized. Eight deaths have been reported in Todd County and 193 recoveries since mid-March.
