A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly chased a woman and pointed a gun at her Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 50-year-old James Wilford was arguing with a woman who was driving on Fort Campbell Boulevard, when he grabbed the steering wheel nearly causing them to run off the road.
The woman stopped the vehicle and Wilford allegedly assaulted her causing scratches to her face and neck. Police say during the fight, the woman got out of the vehicle, with Wilford chasing her with a gun.
He is charged with fourth-degree assault and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
