A high speed pursuit that started on Interstate 24 ended with a crash on Crenshaw Boulevard in Hopkinsville Saturday afternoon.
State Police say they attempted to stop the motorcycle at the Tennessee-Kentucky state line on Interstate 24 for speeding. The driver fled at speeds of over a hundred miles per hour getting off at Exit 86 and traveling towards Hopkinsville.
The pursuit ended when the motorcycle turned onto Crenshaw Boulevard and ran off the road.
The driver was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver’s name has not been released.
