A Hopkinsville resident has a piece of artwork flying in the skies of New York City to show unity.
Brad Kirkman, tells the News Edge he was inspired to make his flag design shortly after the death of George Floyd.

Kirkman adds he was surprised to learn it would be flying in New York City.
The flag is named ‘In Harmony, There’s Hope’.
Kirkman hopes to spread a positive message with the flag.
In addition to the flag, Kirkman shares positive messages on his Facebook page where he encourages everyone to be kind to one another.
Kirkman and his family are very involved in the Challenge House program in Hopkinsville. The program helps children in undeserved inner-city neighborhoods.
