
Kentucky’s first confirmed coronavirus patient has fully recovered.
The Courier-Journal reported Friday that University of Kentucky’s Albert B. Chandler Hospital spokesman Jay Blanton had confirmed the patient was discharged. The 27-year old patient from Cynthiana in Harrison County, who worked at Walmart, had tested negative twice according to Governor Andy Beshear.
On Friday, at least thirteen other cases were reported across the Commonwealth, with five in Harrison County, three in Fayette County, two in Jefferson County, one in Montgomery County, and two in unknown counties. The number of cases in the United States surpassed 1,900, with more than 40 deaths and more than 135,000 cases globally.
