A Paducah man was charged with possession of meth and arrested on warrants after a report of a hostage situation on Bethel Street Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library for a report of a hostage situation and found 28-year-old Matthew Hargrove and a woman in a vehicle.
After talking with them police found that the woman was not being held hostage.
Police reportedly found meth and drug paraphernalia in Hargrove’s pocket. He is charged with possession of meth and arrested on warrants for theft and burglary.
