Man Charged After Drugs Were Found In The Christian County Jail

A man was charged after five bags of spice were found in the Christian County Jail Thursday.

Christian County Jailer Brad Boyd said 39-year-old Thomas Combs was charged after five bags of synthetic drugs were found in the jail.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Myers and his K9 “Hamer” along with Jail Sgt. Matt Newby located the drugs.

Boyd said K9’s are used periodically to search for any illegal substances in the living areas in the jail and random searches are done regularly by jail staff.

Combs was already charged with trafficking meth and is now charged with first-degree promoting contraband.
