The 5th annual Sean Wallace Encouraging Art Award reception will take place Thursday night at Hopkinsville Community College.
Wallace tells the News Edge the event will take place between 6:00 and 8:00 PM in the Auditorium Building and will feature drawings, paintings, and watercolors made by students.
He adds they are reaching students at several area high schools.
Thanks to the support of the community, the program has continued to grow.
Wallace offers encouragement to families that have children who show they have an artistic talent.
Wallace owns the Barbed Wire Car Wash and Detailing shop located at 30 Wharton Street in Cadiz.
