Pennyrile District Health Department will be hosting a series of free classes for people to learn more about diabetes or even how to manage it.
Certified Diabetes Educator Kelley Dawes tells the News Edge the first class will take place Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the Trigg County Senior Citizens Center. The class will explain what the disease is.
She adds they will go over all of the latest information known about diabetes.
The class will also teach how to prepare healthy meals that your entire family can eat.

The Trigg County Senior Citizens Center is at 127 Joy Drive in Cadiz behind Food Giant. The center offers numerous programs for seniors, but everyone is invited to attend this class.
