Thanks to more than twenty hours of work electric power has been restored to all Hopkinsville Electric System customers with the exception of those that need an electrician to help repair storm damage.
Hopkinsville Electric System General Manager Jeff Hurd says power restoration efforts wrapped up early Sunday morning.
Hurd says the majority of damage was to poles and lines.
He thanked crews for their extra efforts to get electric power back on to customers.
Electric power was out for most of Hopkinsville Saturday morning after a line of severe storms moved through between 6 and 8 Saturday morning.
