Trigg County firefighters were able to contain a fire that started in a structure on Grigsby Lane Friday night.
Montgomery Fire Department Chief Doug Latham said the mostly metal building had been used for sleeping quarters for workers but was vacant at the time.
The fire caused moderate damage to the inside of the structure said Latham.
