A Hopkinsville woman was charged with pouring a substance containing cooked food into a North Carolina woman’s gas tank in Hopkinsville Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 22-year-old Crystal Harris and a second woman who has not been arrested poured an unknown substance containing cooked shrimp into Veronica Parker’s gas tank on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Police say Parker’s granddaughter is dating Harris’s ex-boyfriend. The substance caused over $1,000 in damage to the vehicle.
Harris was reportedly seen on surveillance video from a nearby business damaging the car. She is charged with first-degree criminal mischief.
