Fourth Person Charged In Hopkinsville Robbery

A fourth man was charged Monday night in connection with a December 9th robbery in a Hopkinsville parking lot.

Hopkinsville Police say 19-year-old Keyivoran Pettigrew of Cadiz went up to a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Jordan Shemwell both of Cadiz to shake his hand in the Burkes Outlet parking lot.

19-year-old Zyair Clack of Owensboro, 18-year-old Tyler Parker of Cadiz and 21-year-old Jacorie Summers of Hopkinsville reportedly got out of Shemwell’s vehicle angry over the handshake and assaulted Pettigrew.

During the assault, they allegedly took Pettigrew’s wallet, phone, jacket, and boots then Clack threatened to shoot him before fleeing the area in a car.

Police say the car was located on Rose Drive less than an hour later and Clack, Parker, and Shemwell were still inside the car. Summers was arrested Monday on West 7th Street.

After a search of the car, police reportedly found a gun, marijuana, a digital scale and the stolen items.

Pettigrew was able to identify the suspects and they were all charged with first-degree robbery and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
