Demar Agrees To Plea Deal In 2017 Oak Grove Double-Murder

A man charged in connection to the murders of two Fort Campbell soldiers, including his estranged wife, appeared in Christian Circuit Court Tuesday morning to change his plea and enter into a plea agreement with the Commonwealth Attorney’s office.

Jeremy Demar and his defense attorneys, Audra Woosnam and Clay Beineke, along with Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling appeared before Judge John Atkins. When asked, Demar said he was changing his plea to guilty in connection to all the charges as read by Boling from the plea agreement.

In the plea agreement, Boling stated that Demar admits to unlawfully entering a home on Arkansas Avenue in Oak Grove on February 2, 2017 where he committed the murders and other offenses.

Boling added that Demar then left the home with the gun he used to kill Christopher Hoch and Priscilla East. He noted the capital murder charges were aggravating circumstances while he was engaged in an active burglary.

Judge Atkins accepted the plea deal and set formal sentencing for the morning of April 15.
