A Hopkinsville man was charged with theft after he reportedly stole a truck on Sheena Avenue Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 37-year-old Michael Suttle who has a DUI suspended license took a truck owned by 34-year-old Deanna Dukes of Hopkinsville without her permission.
Suttle was located in the area driving the truck and when police attempted to stop him he reportedly pulled into a vacant lot on Ashley Court.
He allegedly would not listen to commands from officers until officers threatened to use a taser.
After being arrested Suttle reportedly admitted to taking the vehicle and a Fireball whiskey bottle was found in the truck.
He is charged with theft and driving on a suspended license.
