A Hopkinsville woman was charged with fleeing from police after giving them a false name Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Hayes Street for people being in an abandoned house. They found 20-year-old Alexis O’Hara in the area. O’Hara reportedly gave police a false name. As they attempted to arrest her, she twisted her hand to free herself and fled from police.
She was located on East 2nd Street and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, giving officers false identifying information, and resisting arrest.
O’Hara was also arrested on two warrants for probation violation.
