A Todd County man was taken to the hospital after smoke filled his RV on Bully Harris Road Sunday afternoon.
Fairview Fire Department Chief Mark Hampton said the owner of the RV was taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation after smoke filled his home.
Hampton said the smoke is believed to have come from a backup battery. He added the inside of the RV sustained smoke damage and there was minor fire damage outside the home.
A neighbor was able to get the fire under control with a fire extinguisher before firefighters arrived.
The name of the homeowner has not been released.
