Princeton Police And Fire To Be In Friendly Competition Friday

Everyone in the community is being invited to partake in a little bit of friendly competition that will help collect items to help children in need in our backyards.

The Princeton Police and Fire Departments are teaming up for the inaugural “Shoots and Ladders” Fill the Truck event on Friday, December 6th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the parking lot of the Cash Express located at 311 Highway 62 West in Princeton. Both departments will be accepting donations of new toys, as well as monetary donations, to help support the David Scott Memorial Toy Drive.

They will also be accepting new winter coats to be donated to the H.O.P.E. and C.O.P.E. Centers at Caldwell County Schools that will then be distributed to those in need here in Caldwell County.

Because a healthy dose of competitiveness is great for the appetite, Cash Express will be grilling hot dogs for those who come and donate items during the event.

For more information, you can contact Cash Express at 270-365-1708.
