Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville is asking for help to make Christmas better for its residents this year.
Director of Community Services Tony Winfield says since they are a state agency, they depend on the community to assist during the holiday period.
Winfield adds they are asking for gifts, entertainment, and even monetary donations.
Patients also have needs as they prepare to leave a Western State facility.
Winfield notes they have needs throughout the year.
