November is National Diabetes Month and the Christian County Health Department (CCHD) is looking to bring attention to the disease.
Instructional Design and Marketing Manager Amanda Sweeney says they have been hosting classes this month, with another one coming up Tuesday, November 26.
Sweeney adds they have other programs available for those with diabetes.
Sweeney notes the number of those with the disease continues to increase.
In addition, as flu season continues a strong march, the department is still offering flu shots.
