One person was flown from the scene of a single-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer in Caldwell County Thursday afternoon.

Princeton Fire Captain David Sullenger says that crews responded to reports of a roll-over accident with possible injuries on Highway 139 South, about a mile past Davis Greenhouse, around 2:30. He adds that once crews arrived on scene they learned a tractor-trailer transporting cracker boxes had landed on its side and was blocking both lanes of traffic. Sullenger notes that the driver, whose name has not yet been released by authorities, was out of the vehicle by the time crews arrived but was flown from the scene by Air Evac.
The roadway was closed for a few hours as crews work to clear the scene.

No other information has been released at this time.
