A woman whose parents live in Hopkinsville recently graduated basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Joint Hometown News Service reports U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Ayra Faye P. Javier completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Javier also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
She is the daughter of Emily and Joe Bostick of Hopkinsville and a 2010 graduate of Governor Ferrer Memorial National High School in the Philippines.
