Three people are charged with criminal abuse and wanton endangerment after two children were reportedly found wandering in a neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they found two children under 6-years-old in the roadway on Canton Street crying and located their home on Cypress Street.
Police arrested 47-year-old Condela Hill, 25-year-old Jasmin Fennell and 27-year-old Ernest McLennen after they allegedly found spoiled food in the home along with trash and bugs.
The children reportedly did not have adequate bedding and the front door could not be secured.
Hill, Fennell and McLennen are charged with two counts of first-degree criminal abuse and five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
