The Madisonville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person who fired gunshots in a neighborhood early Sunday morning.
The department reports they received numerous calls from the Hopkins County Central Dispatch concerning hearing gunshots near the intersection of East Broadway and Park Avenue. When officers arrived, they found multiple shell casings on Park Avenue, with several bullet strikes to more than one residence in the 600 block of East Broadway. No residents were injured during the incident.
