The Hopkinsville Rotary Club is thanking the community for another successful fundraising week.
Auction Chair Trent Haddock tells the News Edge they closed out the 69th annual auction raising over $330,000. He adds for the entire week they sold 705 items and raised over $81,000 during the auction, with the Diner and Sweet Shop bringing in over $28,000. The $330,180 raised was well over their goal and was just over $9,500 more than they collected during the 2018 auction.
All proceeds will go to fund programs for the youth of Hopkinsville and Christian County. Donations can still be made to the club, click here for more information.
