A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of methamphetamine after a traffic stop on East 9th Street Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 38-year-old Angel Garcia failed to a stop at an intersection on East 14th Street just after 10 p.m.
Police allegedly found methamphetamine in the backseat of her vehicle.
She is charged with possession of methamphetamine, disregarding a stop sign, non-payment of fines, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
Garcia is lodged in the Christian County Jail.
