A box truck stolen from 31-W Insulation in Guthrie was found abandoned after it hit a store in Elkton.
Todd County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Patrick Turner said the truck was stolen sometime this weekend and struck the Dollar General in Elkton before the truck was abandoned at Clifton’s Auto Salvage.
Alcohol could be smelled inside the vehicle and other vehicles at the salvage yard were also damaged.
Two roll-up garage doors, two electric garage door openers, tools, and ladders were taken out of the truck and have not been recovered.
