Trigg Hospital Board Enters Contract With Ambulance Board

The Trigg County Hospital Board of Trustees approved entering into a contract following the creation of the special ambulance taxing district last year during Thursday evening’s meeting.

Chair of the Trigg County Ambulance Board Stephanie Perry says they are required to enter into this contract since the tax was approved by fiscal court.

Ambulance Director Jason Meador shared with the board back in November that batteries used in the ambulances had been recalled. After some extensive research, the hospital thought they were going to have to spend a lot of money replacing monitors in each of the vehicles. Meador informed members that the fix will be simple with a software update that will be completed next week.

Sumner adds that saves some stress on the hospital.
