D and D Sanitation owner Diane Darnell says the Trigg County business is under new ownership.
Darnell announced in a social media post early Friday morning that the 42-year-old company has been sold to new owners. Darnell did not disclose the new ownership, but did note she expects the new company to continue to provide the same service customers are accustomed to.
Darnell says her late husband Rodney began the business in 1977 with a pickup truck. The company has continued grow over the years and continues to be one of the major sanitation companies that serves Trigg County residents and businesses.
Diane says she and her husband considered selling the business five years ago, but continued to own and operate it due to concerns over finding the proper company. She says for the last month she has watched the new company and their willingness to serve the community, and feels confident they will continue with the same customer service that D and D has provided for 42 years.
