In two separate incidents, deputies from Trigg and Christian Counties helped motorists after their vehicles were overcome by water on flooded roadways Sunday.
Christian County Sheriffs Deputy Clevin Robinson told the News Edge at the scene a mother and child attempted to cross high water covering the roadway on Millers Mill Road Sunday morning when their vehicle stalled.
Sunday night in Trigg County a woman was helped out of her vehicle by deputies on Rocky Ridge Road in the area of US 68 after her vehicle was overcome by water that was covering the roadway.
Deputies remind drivers not to attempt to cross flooded roadways.
