The building will be used for the wrestling program for the school district. All wrestling teams were previously using the elementary school gymnasium and ran into some issues with the renovations that are slated to take place in the primary and intermediate schools.Board members also heard from Sherman Carter Barnhart architects to get an update on the renovation project. Architects Justin McElfish and Andrew Owens told board members the previous plans they approved will not fit into the $13 million budget they have for the project. Hamby says this is taking a step back in the design process as they will have to make some changes to stay within budget.
