A Trigg County man was arrested for driving under the influence early Tuesday morning.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reports 46-year old Thomas Cox of Cadiz was spotted swerving in and out of his travel lane on Highway 272 around 1:20. Cox reportedly stumbled when he stepped out of his vehicle and blew a .157, nearly two times the legal limit during a field sobriety test.
Cox was lodged in the Christian County Jail for his second offense of driving under the influence of alcohol.
