Trigg County Intermediate School has been named one of America’s Healthiest Schools.
According to their website, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation gives the award to schools who showcase and acknowledge the implemented changes to create healthier school environments. To earn the award, schools must meet best practice criteria established by the Alliance’s Healthy Schools Program Expert Panel and outlined in the Healthy Schools Program Framework of Best Practices. Trigg County Intermediate was given the Bronze award. The organization also gives out Silver and Gold awards as well.
