The Christian County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the victim killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Eagle Way Bypass at Pennyrile Parkway Monday morning. Deputy Coroner Zach Lamb identified the woman as 39-year old Krissti Bryant of Oak Grove. He says her body has been transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for an autopsy to be conducted Tuesday morning. Lamb says Bryant’s son, 17-year old David Bryant, was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
Hopkinsville Police Public Information Officer Lt. Kyle Spurlin says the wreck occurred when a tractor-trailer traveling eastbound on the bypass t-boned a vehicle that was exiting the parkway.
Lt. Spurlin says the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the wreck.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the fatal crash shortly after 8:00 Monday morning.
