Motorists traveling Kentucky 1489/State Park Road in Trigg County need to be aware a section of the road will be closed Thursday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says State Park Road will be closed beginning at 7:00 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. 68 to allow a cross drain to be replaced as part of the ongoing construction of US 68/KY 80 between Cadiz and Canton. The road is expected to reopen around 4:00 Thursday afternoon.
Todd indicates there will not be a marked detour, and motorists may self-detour via Kentucky 1489/Blue Springs Road.
