Police are continuing to investigate a shooting in Hopkinsville after a male subject was found shot in the head area on North Vine Street Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police Department Public Information Officer Lieutenant Kyle Spurlin tells the News Edge officers responded to the 100 block of North Vine Street around 10:15am and found the victim with a critical single gunshot wound.
He says detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting and follow up on leads.
Lt. Spurlin indicates detectives are still working the scene and trying to determine what led up to the shooting.
