Hopkinsville Man Charged With Fleeing From Police

A Hopkinsville man wanted on a warrant is facing an additional charge after he reportedly fled from police when they responded to a fight at the public library.

Hopkinsville Police report officers responded to a call of a fight at the Hopkinsville Public Library shortly after 8:40 Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, officers say they observed 21-year old Dale Kryzak pacing back and forth and knew he had active warrants. After Kryzak was advised he had a warrant and was asked for his identification, police were approached by an individual in reference to the fight and Kryzak allegedly fled and disobeyed orders to stop.

Kryzak was arrested at the intersection of South Main Street and East 11st Street and lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with 2nd Degree Fleeing or Evading Police On Foot. He was also served the warrant revoking his Bond for Failure To Report on underlying charges of 3rd Degree Burglary and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
