A woman is facing charges in connection with a suspicious mobile home fire early Saturday morning on the Princeton Road. According to the Christian County Jail website 32 year-old Karen Brafman was arrested Saturday morning and charged with Arson-first degree and Wanton Endangerment-first degree. She was lodged in the Christian County Jail under a $100,000 cash bond.
West Side and Cerulean Volunteer Fire Departments and the Christian County Sheriff’s Department responded to the trailer at 8892 Princeton Road around 6:00am. Deputies informed the News Edge on the scene that the investigation has been turned over to Kentucky State Police and an arson investigator.
The American Red Cross was also on the scene providing assistance to the family who made it out of the home safely.No other details are known at this time.
