A Calloway County woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Canton Road in Trigg County Monday afternoon. Emergency personnel was called to the crash scene in the 7200 block, near the main entrance to Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Rick Johnson says the collision involved a pickup truck pulling a trailer driven by 35-year old John Hopkins of Cadiz and an SUV driven by 37-year old Tasha Mitchell of Calloway County.

He says Mitchell was injured and transported to Trigg County Hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred shortly before 2:20pm.
