Crime Stoppers Fugitive of The Week Arrested

A Crime Stoppers featured fugitive was arrested over the weekend at a home on North Main Street. Hopkinsville Police officers went to a home in the 700 block of North Main Street Sunday afternoon around 3:30 in reference to a fugitive of the week, 41-year old Michael Turley. Officers indicate Tanisha Dhaliwal refused to answer the door and kept officers from entering her home. After gathering more information, police determined Turley was inside the home and were able to get him to come outside the residence.

Turley and Dhaliwal were taken into custody and lodged in the Christian County Jail. Turley is charged with two counts of Contempt of Court Libel/Slander and two counts of Probation Violation for felony offenses of underlying charges from 2nd Degree Burglary and Theft By Deception to Flagrant Non-Support. Dhaliwal was charged with 2nd Degree Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension.
