Sad and tragic news out of Union County. Three adults and a child were killed in a house fire in Morganfield Friday. According to Kentucky State Police, the fire was reported just after noon at a home in the 1800 block of KY 2835. Reports indicate the mobile home in Whispering Meadows was destroyed.
State Police say the victims have been identified as 40-year old Brandy Hinson, 21-year old Brennan Hinson, 18-month old Branson Scott Hinson, and 21-year old Mikaylin Price, all of Morganfield.
Kentucky State Police detectives, the Kentucky State Fire Marshal and a KSP Arson Investigator are actively investigating the fire to determine a cause. As of now, police say the origin and cause is unknown.
