With the deadline Friday, another city councilman has filed for re-election to serve another term on Hopkinsville City Council.
Ward 12 councilman Phillip Brooks filed his paperwork with the Christian County Clerk’s Office Monday afternoon. Phillips, a Democrat, has served on City Council from 1992 through 2006 and was elected again in 2009. He currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Committee of the Whole and serves as a member of the Long Range Planning and Coordination Committee and the Board of Directors for the Western Hills Municipal Golf Course.
The deadline to file for Hopkinsville City Council is 4:00 Friday afternoon.
