A Hopkinsville woman was charged Monday with leaving the scene of an accident after she hit an apartment complex with her car on October 7th.
Hopkinsville Police say 20-year-old Markia Steele hit an apartment on Honeysuckle Drive with her car causing minor injuries to children inside.
Steele reportedly appeared to be sleeping when she was found in the car by the family living in the apartment and she asked for them not to call the police before fleeing on foot.
