A Cadiz woman was arrested after attempting to hide a man Monday evening who had active warrants against him.
According to Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reports, they received an anonymous tip courtesy of the Cadiz-Trigg County Crime Stoppers that 44-year old Cole Duncan of Cadiz was at a home on Woodland Drive. Deputies went to the home to find 41-year old Tiffani Oakes inside the residence and reportedly unwilling to come out.
The responding officers received verbal permission to enter the home from the owner. Both were found in the living room, with Duncan hiding under a couch. Oakes is facing a charge of 2nd-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension. Duncan had two warrants out for his arrest for felony offense probation violation from Christian County.
