A Hopkinsville man was charged with fleeing from police and wanton endangerment after an incident at the Stadium Of Champions Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 27-year-old Devon Poindexter was seen driving recklessly in the parking lot and fled when officers tried to stop him.
When he fled his vehicle reportedly caused gravel to fly towards officers and he turned his vehicle towards an officer that was on foot nearly hitting him.
Poindexter reportedly told police he was tired of waiting in the parking lot.
He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police and reckless driving.
